district and provincial reports on the 14th of August 2011 and is to embark working on the national report beginning of September. Thereafter, the Committee shall start working on the Constitution draft on the first of October in which the process takes a period of one month. COPAC informed the Catalyst by mid-November the Constitution Draft will be out and ready to go to the Parliament for debate.

The constitution which making process is part and parcel of the roadmap towards the holding of free and fair elections and hence must be given due respect. The Coalition hopes that political parties will remain fully committed to the implementation of the Global Political Agreement (GPA) Article VI parties should speak with one voice. The Coalition also supports the Parliamentary Select Committee on the Constitution (COPAC) in its endeavor to lead the people of Zimbabwe in making a constitution by themselves and for themselves.
